Julide Bozoglu is a leader in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) field and champions its importance to engineering. She is passionate about the latest BIM tools and teaches BIM courses at the Armour College of Engineering at IIT in Chicago. She works as a BIM specialist at Environmental Systems Design Inc. to improve society through the built environment. She has written articles and given presentations on BIM across the world.
Julide’s technical skills include being well-versed in a range of building-design, construction-management and energy modeling and analysis software. She is experienced in design coordination and in sustainability issues.
Julide holds a Ph.D. and received her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul. She is a licensed architect and an AIA International Associate. She has 16 years of design experience and 10 years of construction and teaching experience in the AEC industry.
